How to earn money while using ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini
You already wait for AI to write its answers dozens of times a day. Here is how to get paid for that waiting time, honestly and safely.
The idea: your waiting time has value
Every time you send a prompt to ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, there is a gap of a few seconds to a minute while the AI writes. Most people just watch the text appear. If you use AI for work or study, those gaps add up to hours every month.
Advertisers want to reach people at exactly that moment: someone who is focused, at a computer, and actively working on something. Waitline connects the two. It shows one short, clearly labelled sponsored line under your prompt while the AI is writing. The advertiser pays for that view, and half of what they pay goes to you.
How it works, step by step
- Create a free account at waitline.appsage.in with your email and a password. It takes under a minute.
- Install the Waitline extension in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on your laptop or desktop.
- Link your browser. Click the Waitline icon in the toolbar and choose Sign in. Your browser is now connected to your account. You can link up to three browsers.
- Use AI exactly as you do today. When the AI starts writing, a single line marked "Sponsored · Waitline" appears under your message. When the answer finishes, it disappears.
- Watch your balance grow in your dashboard, with a 30-day chart of views and earnings.
- Withdraw to UPI or a bank account in India once you have $10 available.
How much can you really earn?
Honesty matters here, because many "earn money online" offers exaggerate. Waitline is pocket money, not a salary. Here is the actual maths.
Advertisers pay a price per 1,000 views, currently $2, $2.50 or $5. You receive 50% of that for each qualified view:

*Each account can earn on up to 150 qualified views a day (and 40 an hour), which keeps the system fair and fraud-free. Actual earnings depend on how much you use AI and on how many advertisers are running campaigns.
A typical heavy AI user who sends 40–60 prompts a day might earn one to a few dollars a month. It is small, but it is real money, paid to you, for something you already do.
What counts as a "qualified view"?
You are paid only for genuine views, which is why advertisers trust Waitline and keep paying. A view counts when:
- the sponsored line is visible on your screen for at least about 1.5 seconds,
- the browser tab is in front and the window is focused (not in a background tab),
- you stay within the hourly and daily limits,
- and the activity looks human: no scripts, bots or automatic prompting.
You never need to click an ad to earn. Clicking is optional and only if the offer interests you.
Getting paid: UPI or bank transfer
New earnings are held for 30 days. This protects everyone from fraud and lets advertisers dispute obviously fake traffic. After that, they move to your available balance.
- India: add your UPI ID, or your bank account number and IFSC, in the dashboard. Payouts are converted from dollars to rupees on the payout date and sent by UPI or IMPS.
- Once your available balance reaches $10, click Withdraw. You can follow the status in your dashboard.
Like any income, you are responsible for declaring it for tax purposes. We may ask for PAN or KYC details where the law requires.
Is it safe? Does it read my chats?
No. The extension never reads, stores or sends what you type or what the AI answers. It only checks whether the AI is currently writing, so it knows when to show the line. It requests no access to your browsing history, other tabs or other websites. Read the full explanation in Is Waitline safe?.
Tips to get the most out of Waitline
- Link every computer you use for AI (up to three browsers), such as your work laptop and home desktop.
- Keep the extension switched on. You can pause it from the toolbar icon, but you won't earn while it is off.
- Use the AI tab in front. Views in background tabs don't count.
- Add your payout method early so withdrawals go through smoothly when you reach $10.
