Paid in real dollars
No points, coins or gift-card maths. Your balance is in dollars from your first counted view.
Free extension for Chrome, Edge & Firefox
While ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini writes its answer, Waitline shows one short sponsored line under your prompt. Advertisers pay for that line, and 50% of the money goes to you. It never reads your chats.
Realistic earnings: a dollar or two a month for a heavy user. Pocket money, not a salary.
How it works
Add the free extension, sign in with Google, and your browser is linked to your earnings account.
While the AI writes its answer, one text line appears in the empty space under your message. You can close it any time.
When the line has been on your screen for about a second and a half, you earn your share. You never need to click.
Why Waitline
You already stare at a loading answer dozens of times a day. Waitline uses only that dead time, and only one line of it.
No points, coins or gift-card maths. Your balance is in dollars from your first counted view.
The extension can't read your prompts or answers. It only notices that a reply is being written.
No banners, videos or redirects. One short text line in space that would otherwise sit empty.
The line stays only while the AI is writing, then disappears. Your reading is never interrupted.
Campaigns are reviewed by a human before they go live, so you won't see scams or shady offers.
Close any line with ×, pause sponsored lines from the toolbar icon, or uninstall in one click.
Where the money goes
Advertisers pay a fixed price for every 1,000 views. We split it down the middle. Your balance is shown in real money from your first view.
An honest estimate. It depends on how much ad space advertisers buy each month.
Privacy
Most browser extensions for AI tools want to see everything. Waitline is built so it doesn't need to. Read the full privacy policy.

FAQ
Waitline is a free browser extension for Chrome, Edge and Firefox. While ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini writes its answer, it shows one short sponsored line under your prompt, and pays you half of what the advertiser paid for that view.
Not much per day, and we'd rather be honest about that. At a $2 price per 1,000 views, 30 prompts a day comes to about 90 cents a month. A heavy user on higher-priced ads might make a few dollars. It adds up over time; it won't pay rent.
No, it can't read your conversations. The extension only counts how many messages are on the page and checks whether the AI's stop button is showing. It never reads your prompts or the AI's answers, never looks at your browsing history, cookies or other tabs, and only runs on chatgpt.com, claude.ai, gemini.google.com and the Waitline site.
No. You earn when the sponsored line has actually been on your screen, in a visible and focused tab, for about a second and a half. Clicking is never required.
Every view is held for 30 days. That gives us time to spot bots and fake accounts before money leaves, which keeps advertisers paying and keeps your share fair.
Once your available balance reaches $10.00, press Withdraw on your dashboard and we send it to you. More payout methods are coming.
No. It only adds one small line of text, and it never touches the conversation itself. If a site shows its own ad, Waitline stays out of the way.
Yes. Waitline doesn't depend on your plan. It works the same whether you use a free or paid account, because it only reacts to the page showing that an answer is being written.
Yes. Click the Waitline icon and untick "Show sponsored lines", close any single line with the × button, or uninstall the extension.
