Terms of Service
Part A: everyone · Part B: Users · Part C: Advertisers · Part D: legal
Part A: Everyone
A1. The Service
Waitline is a browser extension and website. While an AI assistant is generating a reply, the extension shows one clearly labelled sponsored line. Advertisers pay for these views, and we share part of that revenue with the Users who see them.
A2. Not affiliated with AI providers
Waitline is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by OpenAI (ChatGPT), Anthropic (Claude) or Google (Gemini). Those names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe where the extension works.
Sponsored lines appear only inside your own browser. They are not shown to or by those providers, and we do not change their answers. Your use of those services remains subject to their own terms. Those sites may change at any time, which can stop Waitline working on them, temporarily or permanently. We do not guarantee that Waitline will work on any particular site.
A3. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law.
- Give accurate information, keep your password secret, and tell us promptly at care@appsage.in about any unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- We may refuse, suspend or close accounts that break these terms, are involved in fraud, or where the law requires it.
A4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use bots, scripts, emulators, automated prompts, click farms or any artificial means to generate views or clicks.
- Create multiple User accounts, share accounts or sell them.
- Tamper with, reverse engineer, modify or redistribute the extension, or interfere with how ads are shown or counted.
- Use the Service for anything unlawful, or try to break its security.
- Upload harmful code, or scrape the Service.
A5. Changes to the Service and these terms
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service. We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we will give notice by email or on the website at least 7 days before they take effect, unless a faster change is required by law or to stop abuse. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the new terms.
Part B: Users (earning)
B1. How earnings work
- You earn a share of the advertising revenue for each qualified view. A qualified view is a sponsored line actually shown in a linked browser that meets our checks:
- visible for at least the minimum time
- within hourly and daily limits
- not flagged as invalid traffic
- The current User share is 50% of the advertiser's price for that view, shown on the website and in your dashboard. We may change the share prospectively with notice.
- Ads are available only while Advertisers are running campaigns. Waitline does not guarantee any amount of ads or earnings. Earnings are a promotional reward, not a salary, wage or employment income. Nothing in these terms creates an employment, partnership or agency relationship.
- Earnings are measured by our systems. Those records are final, except for a clear error, which you may report within 30 days.
B2. Holding period, minimum and payouts
- New earnings are held for 30 days to allow fraud checks and Advertiser disputes. After that they become available.
- You can request a payout once your available balance reaches the minimum shown in your dashboard (currently US$10). Pay by:
- UPI or bank transfer in India, through RazorpayX
- PayPal
- Earnings are recorded in US dollars. Indian payouts are converted to INR at the rate we apply on the payout date, as shown before you confirm.
- Make sure your payout details are correct. Payouts sent to the details you provided are final. Failed or reversed payouts are returned to your balance.
- We may ask for identity, PAN or KYC details before paying you, as the law or our payment partners require. We may deduct taxes at source (such as TDS) where Indian law requires. You are responsible for declaring and paying any tax on your earnings.
B3. Invalid activity
If we reasonably find a breach of section A4 or other invalid activity, we may do any of the following:
- withhold or cancel the affected earnings, including held and available balances
- reverse amounts already paid for that activity
- suspend or close the account
We will tell you the reason where the law and fraud prevention allow, and you may ask us to review the decision by writing to care@appsage.in.
B4. Closing your account
You can stop at any time by uninstalling the extension. To close your account, email us. If your available balance is at least the minimum, request a payout first. Balances below the minimum on a closed account, or on an account inactive for 24 months after we have sent notice, may lapse.
Part C: Advertisers
C1. Campaigns and pricing
- Campaigns are prepaid. You choose:
- a price per 1,000 views from the options shown
- the number of views
- a plan: as fast as possible, or 1, 2 or 3 months
- a start date
- the AI sites
- Prices are in US dollars. Payments in India through Razorpay are charged in INR at the rate shown at checkout. Prices are exclusive of tax. Payments in INR carry GST at the prevailing rate (currently 18%), shown at checkout and on the GST tax invoice we issue for every payment. Payments from outside India in US dollars are treated as an export of services and carry no GST.
- You are billed only for views that are delivered and qualified. Invalid traffic we detect is not counted against your campaign.
C2. Review and approval
Every campaign is reviewed before it runs, normally within 1–2 business days. We may reject, pause or stop any ad at our discretion, including after approval. If we reject a campaign or stop it for reasons other than your breach of these terms, the undelivered amount is refunded as set out in the Refund Policy.
C3. Ad content rules
Ads must be truthful, lawful and not misleading. They must comply with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the ASCI Code for Self-Regulation in Advertising, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and every other applicable law. We do not accept ads for:
- illegal products or services, weapons, drugs, tobacco or vaping, alcohol
- gambling, betting or real-money gaming
- adult or sexual content
- unregistered financial or investment schemes, crypto-asset schemes, guaranteed-return or get-rich-quick offers, loan apps that are not RBI-regulated
- prescription medicines, or unapproved health claims
- political or election advertising
- hate, harassment or discrimination
- counterfeit goods, anything that infringes someone else's rights
- malware, phishing or deceptive landing pages
- ads that impersonate OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or any other person or brand
You confirm that you own or are licensed to use everything in your ad and landing page. You are solely responsible for them, including the claims they make.
C4. Delivery and reporting
- We aim to spread views evenly across the plan you choose. Delivery depends on how many Users are active, so it is not guaranteed by date. Views not delivered by the end of the plan continue until they are delivered, unless you ask us to stop and refund the undelivered part.
- Your dashboard shows views, clicks and click-through rate from our systems. These are the basis for billing. We do not share any personal information about Users with Advertisers.
- You may pause or resume a campaign from your dashboard.
C5. Chargebacks
If you raise a chargeback or payment dispute for views that were delivered, we may suspend your account and recover the amount and any costs. Contact us first: most issues can be fixed quickly.
C6. Indemnity
You will indemnify AppSage, its directors and employees against claims, losses, penalties and reasonable legal costs arising from:
- your ads or landing pages
- your breach of these terms
- your breach of the law
Part D: Legal
D1. Intellectual property
The Service, the extension, the Waitline name and logo, and all related software and content belong to AppSage or its licensors. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the extension and website in line with these terms.
Advertisers give us a non-exclusive licence to display, reproduce and format their ad content to run their campaigns.
D2. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not responsible for:
- third-party websites, including the AI sites and Advertisers' landing pages
- the products and services Advertisers offer
Clicking an ad takes you to a site we do not control.
D3. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, AppSage is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to:
- Advertisers: the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
- Users: your available unpaid balance at the time of the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
D4. Suspension and termination
Either party may end this agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for breach, fraud, legal risk or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including payment obligations, indemnity, limitation of liability and governing law.
D5. Force majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Examples include:
- outages of the AI sites, payment partners, hosting or internet
- changes to browser or extension-store policies
- acts of government
- natural disasters
D6. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Before going to court, the parties will try in good faith to settle any dispute by writing to each other for 30 days. Subject to that, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction. Indian consumers keep any rights they have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
D7. General
These terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy are the entire agreement between us about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours to an affiliate or a successor. Notices to you go to your account email; notices to us go to care@appsage.in.
